Part Of Route 120 To Close For More Than Month In Chappaqua Commuters in Northern Westchester are being warned to take detours to avoid an upcoming road closure that will affect a busy state route for more than a month.  Beginning on Wednesday, July 5 at 10 a.m., State Route 120 (Quaker Road) will close in both directions between Kipp Street and Spring Lane in Chappaqua, the New York State Department of Transportation announced. Closure Scheduled For Ramp On Parkway In Hudson Valley State officials issued an alert about a planned ramp closure on the Palisades Interstate Parkway in the Hudson Valley. Motorists in Rockland County should expect the northbound Palisades Interstate Parkway ramp to Exit 5N (State Route 303) in Orangetown to close on Thursday, Oct. 6 between 8 p.m. and midnight, the New York State Department of Transportation said. The ramp from the southbound parkway in Dutchess County to Exit 37A (I-84 eastbound) in East Fishkill will close on Wednesday, Sept. 28, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., the New York State Department of Transportation announced. Officials said the ramp will be closed to accommodate guide rail repairs. "Motorists should follow the posted detour utilizing Exit 35 (Miller Hill Road) to the Taconic State Parkway northbound to Exit 37A (Interstate 84 eastbound) as an alternate," the department said.
