A Hudson Valley woman has gone missing and authorities are asking the public's help in locating her. New York State Police say detectives have been investigating the disappearance of Orange County resident Jennifer Jones, age 43, from Chester. The investigation began on Wednesday, Aug. 2. The 4-foot-11 Jones, who weighs between 110 and 120 pounds, was last seen in the Chester area on or about Wednesday, July 26. She reportedly was going to see her daughter in North Carolina. Francisco Lugovina, CEO of Ekawa, LLC discussed a proposed substance abuse center that would be located on Legion Drive in Valhalla during a meeting of the Mount Pleasant Town Board earlier this month. The Centers for Disease Control has released a guide to assist parents in helping teenagers avoid using or abusing substances such as alcohol of marijuana.
