On Friday, June 5, State Police from Cortlandt arrested Andrew C. Pesavento, 32, of Cortlandt, NY, for DWAI Drugs. He was traveling on Oregon Road in the town of Cortlandt, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of drugs, and was subsequently arrested.

Thousands are without power in Westchester as storms rolled through the region, bringing whipping winds of more than 70 mph that toppled tree limbs, downed power lines, and forced the closure of many roads.
