6-Year-Old Airlifted To Westchester Medical Center Following Crash A 6-year-old boy was airlifted to a hospital with severe lacerations following a crash on I-87 in the Hudson Valley. The collision occurred around 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 22, on I-87 in Orange County in the town of Newburgh. According to Trooper Tara McCormick of the New York State Police, a preliminary investigation at the scene determined that a 2022 Toyota Tundra was parked on the right shoulder when the driver, Connecticut resident Peter W. Former Supervisor At Reader's Digest Dies At Age 63 A man who worked at Reader's Digest in Westchester County for decades has died at the age of 63. Dutchess County resident Robert Riley-Brown, of Wappingers Falls, died at New York Presbyterian Milstein Heart Center on Saturday, Aug. 20, according to his obituary. He was born in the Litchfield County town of Sharon, Connecticut. According to his obituary, Riley-Brown worked as a supervisor at the Global Data Center at Reader's Digest in Pleasantville for 27 years, and he later worked at IBM in Poughkeepsie, his obituary said. Trio Caught With Crack Cocaine, Paraphernalia In Hudson Valley Traffic Stop A trio from Connecticut was busted with crack-cocaine hidden in several places by New York State Police troopers during a stop in Dutchess County. Troopers on patrol at approximately 10:40 p.m. on Tuesday, June 26, conducted a traffic stop of a 2016 Subaru Impreza on Wigsten Road in Pleasant Valley, when the motorist was spotted committing a violation of vehicle and traffic laws.
