Man Caught With Skimmer Device, Forged License, Credits Cards In Yorktown Stop, Police Say A routine traffic stop on Route 134 in Yorktown led to the arrest of a 22-year-old man who was in possession of an illegal skimming device, forged credit cards and a fake ID, police said. Officers on patrol shortly after 10:15 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29, stopped Brooklyn resident Christopher Alfred when he failed to maintain his lane of traffic and veered out of his lane. During the traffic stop, officers determined that Alfred was in possession of a skimmer device, a forged Pennsylvania driver’s license, and two forged credit cards. ID Released For Man Killed In Crash On Taconic State Parkway The motorist who was killed Friday morning in a crash on the Taconic State Parkway near the Northern Westchester/Putnam border has been identified by state police from the Hawthorne barracks. The single-vehicle crash occurred on the southbound Taconic just north of Exit 11 (Route 134) in Yorktown at approximately 8 a.m. The operator and sole occupant of the vehicle was 54-year-old Darsin Sandro of Long Island City.
