Man Charged With DWI Following Head-On Crash That Causes Saw Mill Parkway Closure A 54-year-old man was charged with driving while intoxicated following a head-on collision that closed the Saw Mill River Parkway in Northern Westchester. The incident occurred around 2:40 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14 when a GMC Envoy traveling southbound on the Saw Mill in the vicinity of Route 120 in New Castle struck a guard rail, went airborne and entered the northbound lanes of travel, Westchester County Police said.
