Former Supervisor At Reader's Digest Dies At Age 63
A man who worked at Reader's Digest in Westchester County for decades has died at the age of 63.
Dutchess County resident Robert Riley-Brown, of Wappingers Falls, died at New York Presbyterian Milstein Heart Center on Saturday, Aug. 20, according to his obituary.
He was born in the Litchfield County town of Sharon, Connecticut.
According to his obituary, Riley-Brown worked as a supervisor at the Global Data Center at Reader's Digest in Pleasantville for 27 years, and he later worked at IBM in Poughkeepsie, his obituary said.

Native NewYorker Gavin MacLeod, a popular actor on two of the biggest television hit shows of the 1970s and '80s, has died.
MacLeod, who was born in Northern Westchester County, in Mount Kisco, as Allan George See and raised in Pleasantville, was age 90.
He died at his home in Palm Desert, California, after having recent health issues, his family said.
MacLeod became nationally known for his role as news writer Murray Slaughter of Minneapolis TV station WJM on CBS-TV's "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" in the early to mid-1970s.

Longtime Waccabuc Resident, Computer Pioneer John A. Moore Dies
John A. Moore, a longtime resident of the hamlet of Waccabuc in Lewisboro, died on Thursday, May 2 in Jupiter, FL. John was born in Watertown, NY, son of Anna and Clare Moore. The family eventually moved to Syracuse, where John later graduated from Syracuse University.
After pioneering in the computer world, John joined Reader's Digest in the '70s where he was a group systems analyst. After years with the Digest, he and a partner formed their own fulfillment business. He retired in 2000 to go on to enjoy the good life of golf, travel and family.

Katonah High Grad, Longtime Reader's Digest Employee Jacqueline (Seymour) Keegan Dies At 88
Jacqueline Keegan, 88, died peacefully on Friday, April 26 at Merrimack County Nursing Home in Boscawen, NH.
Born in Somers, she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Shanks) Seymour. A graduate of Katonah High School in Katonah, she worked for many years in the International Office for Readers Digest.
