Background Checks analyzed the most recent FBI crime report and put together this resource, which shows that New York has an overall crime rate at less than half that of the country's. Police: Golf Club Used To Break Mount Kisco Car Window, Steal Property Westchester County Police detectives are investigating the theft of various items from locked cars after a suspect smashed windows with a golf club in front of a Mount Kisco group home. An employee at the group home reported to county police on Tuesday, Feb. 6, alleging that someone had smashed his car window while it was parked overnight on West Street. Police said that the suspect made off with an iPhone, tools and other items, with the stolen property value estimated at approximately $1,400.
