Man Driving With Open Container Of Alcohol On Route 202 Charged With DWI, Police Say A motorist was busted driving with a blood-alcohol content more than double the legal limit with open alcohol in the car during a traffic stop near a busy Yorktown intersection. The Yorktown Police Department received a report of a possibly intoxicated driver leaving a Downing Drive business at approximately 6:15 p.m. on Oct. 15.  Officers were dispatched to the area and spotted the alleged driver’s vehicle on Crompond Road making an illegal lane shift, prompting a traffic stop.
