Police Ask Help In Probe Of Hudson Valley School Administrator's Fatal Shooting
Twenty-five years after the murder of a senior school district administrator in the Hudson Valley, the New York State Police are still working the case and asking the public for help.
Saturday, Feb. 5 marks the anniversary of the murder of Dutchess County resident Richard H. Aderson, age 47, of LaGrange, which remains unsolved.
According to state police, troopers responded on Wednesday, Feb. 5, 1997, to I-84 in the town of Fishkill, after Aderson contacted 911 and reported that he had been shot.

A company has recalled several cream puff products due to the potential presence of small metal fragments.
Poppies International, Inc. recalled several products made from Tuesday, Dec. 7, through Friday, Dec. 10, after the issue was discovered during production, according to an announcement on Tuesday, Dec. 28.
The recalled products were available for sale from Thursday, Dec. 16, through Thursday, Dec. 23, the company reported.

A clearer picture is coming into focus of the timing of a pre-Thanksgiving storm system that will bring heavy rain and strong gusty winds to the entire region and snowfall in some areas.
