Driver Rescued After Plunging Into Reservoir In Hudson Valley A driver was rescued from a partially submerged vehicle in a Hudson Valley reservoir, authorities said.  The incident occurred in Putnam County shortly after noon on Tuesday, Dec. 3, when a vehicle crashed into the West Branch Reservoir near Washington Road in Carmel, according to the Carmel Police Department. ID Released For Man Pulled From Lake Mahopac After Kayak Overturns The man whose body was pulled from the water after police say his kayak overturned in Lake Mahopac has been identified. On Monday, July 22 at 1:40 p.m., the Town of Carmel Police received a report of a missing 55-year-old Mahopac resident, know ID'd as Richard Dudyshyn, Carmel Police Chief Michael Cazzari said.
