Ford Recalling 45K Vehicles For Faulty Door Latches That Could Swing Open: Nhtsa Ford announced a recall of more than 45,000 vehicles that have faulty door latches that could potentially break, allowing them to fly open while motorists are driving.  The recall includes the 2015 Ford Fiesta, 2016 Ford Fusion, and 2016 Lincoln MKZ models, according to the National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration (NHTSA). "The latch pawl spring tab design is susceptible to cracking and failure in areas with high ambient temperatures," officials say. Investigators from the Scarsdale Police Department received a report of a stolen rental car that was taken from a driveway on Continental Road between midnight on Sunday, June 6, and 8:20 a.m. that morning.
