Westchester Husband, Wife Both Charged With Driving Drunk With Kids In Car A husband and wife are facing a series of charges after allegedly both driving drunk with children in the car - including going the wrong way down a stretch of the Taconic State Parkway - in overnight. Investigators from the Yorktown Police Department received multiple reports at approximately 11:20 p.m. of an erratic, potentially intoxicated, driver who had children inside the car on Lexington Avenue as well as Route 202 (Crompond Road) before allegedly driving southbound in the northbound lane of the Taconic State Parkway. Northern Westchester Woman Drove Drunk With Two Kids In Car, Police Say Calls to police and intervention from concerned bystanders led to the arrest of a 43-year-old woman for allegedly driving drunk with two children in the car at a popular shopping area in Northern Westchester. Police received multiple reports of an intoxicated female in the Scotts Corners Market area with two young children on Monday morning,  Pound Ridge Police Chief Dave Ryan said.
