Nearly 100 Puppies Rescued After Blaze Breaks Out At Pet Shop Firefighters along with the help of Good Samaritans were able to save almost 100 puppies when a fire broke in a warehouse attached to a local pet store in Danbury. The fire was reported around 8:56 p.m. Thursday, Jan., 3, a fire was reported on Lake Avenue Extension in the area of the "Puppy Love" building, said the Danbury Fire Department on Facebook.
