Dog Bite Leads To Assault: Man Charged In Hudson Valley Incident, Police Say A 40-year-old man faces assault charges after allegedly starting a physical fight while trying to remove a dog from a Hudson Valley residence that had just bit a person, police said.  The arrest resulted from a Putnam County incident on Saturday, Aug. 26 around 3 p.m., when Kent Police responded to a home on Dunwoodie Road for a reported physical fight.  According to Kent Police, arriving officers found two people engaged in a verbal dispute in the middle of the road.
