Man Accused Of Engaging In Sex Act With Minor At Area Hotel Found Dead A 46-year-old man accused of engaging in a sexual act with a teenager at an area hotel was reportedly found dead a day before he was to make a court appearance. Northern Fairfield County resident Eric Fenyes, of Sherman, allegedly engaged in sexual conduct with a child in Poughkeepsie earlier this month. He was arrested on Tuesday, Feb. 18 and charged with second-degree criminal sexual act. Fenyes, the owner of Fenyes Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning, was found dead in his Mountain Road home in Kent, Connecticut, after fire units and medics responded to the house around 4:15 p.m.…

Kellie Wood, Child Care Provider In Area, Dies At 54 A longtime childcare provider from the area died Sunday, Aug. 25, at age 54. Kellie Wood died at her home in Dover Plains. Wood was a childcare provider at Astor Head Start Dutchess County Day Care for over 20 years. Born on January 20, 1965, in Pittsfield, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Richard G. and Ann Marie (Sitzman) Vickery.  She was a graduate of Dover High School class of 1983. Brewster Fire Department Mourns Loss Of Beloved Chaplain Richard J. Bailey, Sr., the longtime chaplain of the Brewster Fire Department, died Sunday, June 3, at home. Bailey, 87, of Dover Plains, also worked for years as a tree surgeon at Coffin Tree Service in Tarrytown. Born on February 18, 1931, in Danbury, he was the son of the late Myron A. and Blanche Bailey. He was married to Cynthia L.
