Dryer Sparks Blaze At Golf Course Clubhouse In Northern Westchester Firefighters raced to a golf course clubhouse in Northern Westchester after a dryer fire filled the building with smoke. The incident happened in Croton-on-Hudson on Monday, Nov. 4 just before 8:45 a.m., when a blaze began inside a dryer at the Hudson National Golf Course's clubhouse, according to the Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department. Arriving firefighters found that the building was filled with smoke and quickly used a hose to put the fire out.
