'Strong, Defiant': Former Deputy Commissioner Of Westchester Board Of Elections Dies At 67
A woman who was greatly involved in serving the citizens of Westchester County has died after a brave fight against health complications. Jeannie Palazola of Yonkers died on Friday, Nov. 18 at the age of 67, according to her obituary. Born in 1955, Palazola was passionate about serving in government and politics and was a former Deputy Commissioner of the Westchester County Board of Elections, her obituary said. Molinaro Has Double The Backing Of Nearest GOP Rival In Governor's Race
Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro has secured enough Republican Party support to win a gubernatorial slot on its ticket, and now has almost double the backing of his nearest rival in the contest for the GOP’s nomination, according to repots by Politico and others.
