The man was apprehended in Ulster County while officers were conducting a warrant investigation on Tuesday, Aug. 23. While conducting the investigation, officers located AJ Brown, age unknown, of Gloucester, Massachusetts, living in the hamlet of Glasco, in the town of Saugerties, Saugerties Police Chief Joseph Sinagra said. Man Stabbed Multiple Times During Dispute In Hudson Valley Police have arrested a man for allegedly stabbing another man during a dispute in the Hudson Valley. The 22-year-old unidentified man was arrested by Ramapo police around 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 13, in Rockland County in the village of Sloatsburg. According to the Ramapo Police, officers responded to a residence in Sloatsburg at 53 Laurel Road or a reported stabbing. Officials in Manhattan have touted the fact that overall, there is a lower crime rate, however, rapes and murders are on the rise through early March, according to the NYPD’s CompState report. Convicted Felon Throws, Hits Child Outside Hudson Valley School, Police Say A 37-year-old man who threw and hit a small child is behind bars after state police were notified by a local school of the abuse. Michael P. Thorpe was arrested on Monday after New York State Police received a call from teachers and officials at the child's school who were concerned about the abuse, said Trooper AJ Hicks. School officials told police that the injuries sustained by the 7-year-old happened outside of the school, Hicks said.
