Vintage Plane Involved In Air Show Mid-Air Collision Crash Lands In Trees In Hudson Valley
Officials are investigating following a mid-air collision during an air show in the Hudson Valley. The incident occurred in Dutchess County around 3:30 p.m., Sunday, July 28, in the area of the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome in Rhinebeck. According to the Red Hook Fire Company, two planes that participated in the air show at the Aerodrome were involved in the collision. The department said one plane landed safely at the Aerodrome, and the other one crashed nearby. Driver Injured After Car Overturns On Hudson Valley Roadway
A driver was hospitalized following a rollover crash on a busy Hudson Valley road. The crash happened in Putnam County on Monday afternoon, July 22, when an Acura flipped on Milltown Road in the village of Brewster near the Connecticut border, according to the Brewster Fire Department. Arriving first responders found the driver trapped inside the vehicle and were able to free her before taking her to Danbury Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The crash closed Milltown Road on Monday as the scene was cleared, the department said.

A man died after he was found unresponsive in waters near a Hudson Valley beach, police announced. A young child was assessed for injuries after a ride derailed at a park in Westchester during Independence Day celebrations. The incident happened on Thursday, July 4 just after 4 p.m., when the rollercoaster at Waterfront Park in Dobbs Ferry derailed, according to the Dobbs Ferry Volunteer Ambulance Corp. Car Damaged By Fire On Taconic Parkway In Millwood
A car fire prompted a large response from firefighters on a busy parkway in Northern Westchester. The blaze happened on Tuesday, June 25 around 5 p.m., when a car caught on fire on the southbound Taconic State Parkway in Millwood, according to the Millwood Fire Department. Fire crews soon arrived at the scene and found the burning car on the parkway's shoulder. The blaze was put out after around 45 minutes, the department said. No injuries were reported.
