So-Called 'Theft Group' Members Nabbed For Attempted Burglary In Westchester
Two people were arrested for an attempted burglary in Westchester County following an investigation into a "theft group." Piero Morales-Marchant and Paul Montecino-Leiva, both of Chile, were arrested for second-degree attempted burglary on Friday, Jan. 28, according to the Harrison Police Department. Police said the two men broke a rear window of a Harrison home in an attempt to enter the residence. The men then drove to Queens, where they were living, authorities said. Alert Issued For Hudson Valley Man Wanted For Sex Abuse Of 11-Year-Old
New York State Police in the Hudson Valley are asking the public for help in locating a man who is wanted for the sexual abuse of an 11-year-old child. Ruben Mosquera, 74, was arrested after an investigation in Middletown determined that he had inappropriate contact with an 11-year-old. Mosquera left the area and never returned to court to answer the charges and a warrant was issued for his arrest, state police said.
