Victim Burned In Westchester Fire, Roads Closed A person was burned during a fire in Westchester that caused road closures, police said.  The fire happened at 21 Van Cortlandt Park Ave. in Yonkers on Thursday, Jan. 16, causing the road to close between Spruce Street and Elm Street, according to Yonkers Police.  The blaze began on the third floor at around 1 p.m. and also caused Elm Street to close between Walnut Street and Prescott Street, according to Yonkers Police Sgt. 18-Year-Old Shot, Killed In Westchester County, Police Report Police are investigating after an 18-year-old was shot and killed in Westchester County. Yonkers Police officers responded to a report of shots fired in the area of 53 Cliff Street shortly after 9 p.m. on Saturday, July 17.  Officers found the victim who had suffered a gunshot wound, according to police. Police said the area was cordoned off, and the investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been made. The victim was from North Carolina, said police. His identity has not yet been released.
