Car Rolls Over, Lands On Brush By Taconic State Parkway In Millwood
A vehicle was heavily damaged after rolling over and landing in an embankment on the side of the Taconic State Parkway in Northern Westchester. The incident happened just before 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 13 on the northbound Taconic State Parkway in Millwood, according to the Millwood Volunteer Fire Co. #1. Arriving firefighters and police soon found that the vehicle had left the parkway, rolled over, and landed back on its wheels on top of brush inside an embankment, the fire department said. Police are investigating after a middle-aged man was killed in a fiery overnight crash on I-87. It happened in Westchester just before 1 a.m. Friday, Nov. 10 on northbound I-87 in the village of Tarrytown. A head-on collision on a busy Northern Westchester roadway sent one person to the hospital, fire officials said. The incident happened on Monday, Nov. 6 just after 2:15 p.m., when first responders were dispatched to the intersection of Route 100 and Moseman Avenue in Somers for a two-car crash, according to the Somers Volunteer Fire Department. A windy Hudson Valley road was briefly blocked by a flipped-over vehicle after a one-car crash, fire officials said. The incident happened in Putnam County on Sunday, Nov. 5 just before 7:30 a.m., when the Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department responded to Union Valley Road for a single-car crash. Person Sent To Trauma Center After 2-Car Crash In Front Of Northern Westchester Gas Station
A person was hospitalized following a two-car crash that happened in front of a gas station in Northern Westchester. The crash happened on Wednesday, Sept. 7 just before 5 p.m., when first responders in Croton-on-Hudson were sent to the area of 205 South Riverside Ave. for a motor vehicle collision. Arriving crews found that the collision had involved two vehicles and had occurred in front of a Mobil gas station. A 35-year-old man from Northern Westchester was killed after his vehicle struck a pole and overturned in the Hudson Valley.
