Overnight Fire Forces Evacuation Of Orange County Nursing Home (Photos) Dozens of elderly and disabled residents were evacuated in the middle of the night after a fire broke out at an Orange County nursing home overnight. The fire alarm sounded around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 29, alerting residents at the Campbell Hall Rehabilitation Center on Kienan Road to the smell of smoke, firefighters on the scene tell incident reporter Mark Lieb. Emergency responders from across Orange County quickly arrived to find thick, black smoke pouring from the first-floor recreation room. Hudson Valley Entrepreneur Donald Knueppel Dies At 32 Donald Knueppel, an entrepreneur and longtime resident of the area, died on Thursday, Feb. 8 at Campbell Hall Rehabilitation Center in the Town of Hamptonburgh. He was 32. The son of Robert Knueppel Jr. and Michele Wallentine, he was born on July 8, 1985 in Jersey City. Donnie enjoyed WWE Wrestling, karaoke, dancing, sports, drawing, singing, and playing video games. He also enjoyed meeting new people, spending time with his family and friends, and was a real ladies' man.
