Westchester School District Mourns Fourth-Grade Student 'Taken Far Too Soon' A school district in Westchester is mourning the untimely loss of a young boy.  The Mount Vernon City School District announced the death of fourth-grade student Ayman Yahaya Luwaa on Thursday, Feb. 1.  According to district officials, Luwaa died on Tuesday morning, Jan. 30. $13.9M Bridge Replacement, Roundabout Project Starts In Westchester In an effort to improve traffic flow and increase safety on a busy Westchester roadway, crews have undertaken a multi-million dollar project on Route 100C.
