Two vehicles were traveling towards each other on Central Park Avenue in Yonkers at approximately 7:30 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 25, when they collided near the intersection of Arlington Street. Weeklong Lane Closures Scheduled During Route 100 Road Work Weekday lane closures may lead to delays in Westchester for motorists traveling on Central Avenue. The New York State Department of Transportation announced that from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., beginning Tuesday, Aug. 21, there will be southbound lane closures on Route 100 (Central Avenue) between I-87 and Tuckahoe Road in Yonkers, as crews continue maintenance work in the area.
