Woman Steals Merchandise, Hides It In Baby Stroller At Northern Westchester Store: Police A 24-year-old woman faces criminal charges after stealing merchandise from a Northern Westchester store and hiding it in a baby stroller occupied by a 10-month-old child, police said. The arrest resulted from an incident that began in Yorktown on Tuesday, Jan. 23 around 1 p.m., when a theft happened at the Dick's Sporting Goods store in the Jefferson Valley Mall at 650 Lee Blvd., Yorktown Police announced on Tuesday, Jan. 30.  Responding officers soon conducted an investigation and were able to find the suspect's car. Duo Nabbed With Over $1.5K Worth Of Stolen Clothing From Northern Westchester Store: Police Two men face grand larceny charges after stealing over $1,500 worth of clothing from a store in a Northern Westchester mall, police said. Yonkers residents Christopher Franklin, age 51, and Rafael Godoy, age 41, were both arrested on Sunday, Nov. 5 on grand larceny charges, Yorktown Police announced on Thursday, Nov. 9.  According to authorities, around 2:45 p.m. on Sunday, officers responded to Dick's Sporting Goods inside the Jefferson Valley Mall in Yorktown at 650 Lee Blvd. for a reported theft. 2 Men, Woman Face Multiple Charges After Shoplifting Incident In Northern Westchester Two Westchester men and a woman have been arrested for allegedly shoplifting some $1,400 in merchandise from Dick's Sporting Goods in the area. The incident took place in Yorktown around 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 29. According to the Yorktown Police, the department was called to the Dicks Sporting Goods at 650 Lee Blvd., for a reported larceny. When officers arrived they found the vehicle the suspects were seen getting into and leaving the area of the Jefferson Valley Mall, police said.
