Chappaqua's Bill and Hillary Clinton, who is running for the Democratic nomination for president, along with New Castle's Gov. Andrew Cuomo and Harrison's Congresswoman Nita Lowey all attended one of U2's eight sold out shows at Madison Square Garden in July.
The Clintons attended the band's last performance, sitting in section 223. Lead singer Bono thanked President Clinton for helping to achieve peace in Ireland during "Pride (In The Name Of Love.)
The former First Family was also thanked for their help in fighting the spread of AIDS in Africa during a performance of "Where The Streets Have No Name."
Lowey attended two U2 concerts and each time was singled out by the band for her work in helping prevent the spread of AIDS in Africa.
"This woman was sticking her neck out before she had a neck," Bono said on stage.
Presidential candidates Rick Santorum, Lindsey Graham and Chris Christie were also spotted at U2 shows, along with Chelsea Clinton.
Last week, Cuomo was at Billy Joel's farewell at Nassau Coliseum. Cuomo, who officiated Joel's wedding, introduced the singer.
Cuomo left the concert after his girlfriend, Sandra Lee, was hospitalized following complications relating to her double mastectomy.
