It happened on Sunday, Jan. 26 at 12:20 p.m. in Old Bethpage.
Myron Mycio, 24, became involved in the domestic dispute with his parents, a 62-year-old man and a 61-year-old woman before stabbing them both with a knife., Nassau County Police said.
Upon police arrival, Mycio was located in the home and placed under arrest.
Both victims were transported to an area hospital where they were treated for non-life threatening wounds.
Mycio is charged with two counts of second-degree assault and criminal possession of a weapon. He will be arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Monday, Jan. 27.
