Menus in the Movies: 7 p.m. Food author and film buff Carol Durst will continue her Menu in the Movies series with a showing of the film Mad City Chickens. Homemade desserts and discussion will follow the film. The event is free and open to the public. Chappaqua Library, 195 S. Greeley Ave.
Saturday, May 12
Chappaqua Garden Club Annual Plant Sale: 8 a.m. Perennials, annuals, hanging baskets, herbs and plants from club members will be for sale. Chappaqua train station, Greeley Avenue and Depot Plaza.
Chappaqua Farmers Market: 9 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Church of St. Mary the Virgin, 191 S. Greeley Ave.
Bridge and Scrabble Club: 10 a.m. While bridge play is not for beginners, all levels are welcome for Scrabble. The club meets weekly and is free and open to the public. Chappaqua Library, 195 S. Greeley Ave.
Wagon Road Camp Community Day: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Children's Aid Society will have a Community Day at the Wagon Road Camp. There will be an adventure ropes course, baseball, soccer, arts and crafts, and an bouncy castle. There is no fee to attend, and there will be a complimentary lunch. Spring Carnival: Noon to 4 p.m. Horace Greeley High School's class of 2013 will hold a spring carnival on the Robert E. Bell Middle School field, 50 Senter St.
FitQuest: 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Local families are invited to put their muscles to work at FitQuest on Saturday to raise money for Northern Westchester Hospital and the Chappaqua school district. The fitness challenge, which features games such as Angry Birds and a steeple chase, will run, rain or shine, at Chappaqua Crossing, 480 Bedford Road.
