Lee's boyfriend of 10 years, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Lee went into surgery around 8 a.m. and was moved to recovery around 1 p.m., People Magazine reported.

Lee first reported her battle with breast cancer on Good Morning America on Tuesday, May 12.
