MILLWOOD, N.Y. -- A stretch of the Taconic State Parkway has reopened after a serious accident resulted in the closure of the southbound lanes starting late Thursday morning.

The accident, in Millwood at Route 134, was reported at 11 a.m. and resulted in two care fires and two people being hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.

The lanes reopened by 1 p.m.
