Red Cross Shelter Opens At Chappaqua Crossing

CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. - The American Red Cross, working with Northern Westchester Hospital, has opened a 24-hour shelter for anyone in need of a place to stay overnight.

The shelter will also function as a warming center and will have facilities for charging phones and other electronic devices.

The shelter is at Chappaqua Crossing (former Reader's Digest Headquarters) at 480 Bedford Road. The shelter is welcoming people on a walk-in basis.
