CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- New Castle Town Administrator Penny Paderewski was censured by the International City/County Management Association (ICMA) after her run for town Supervisor, according to a Patch report.
The association said it was unethical for her to seek political office while administering the town, the report said. Paderewski lost the election and is retiring from New Castle after 27 years, according to the article. She had left the group because she intended to run.
