WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Byram Lake Road remains closed near the intersection of Harriman Road and will remain closed for about four weeks, according to Westchester County police.
The closure, which was first reported last week, is to allow local Department of Public Works crews to complete road repairs along the busy stretch.
Drivers are urged to avoid the area when possible and to adhere to posted detour signs, according to officials.
Byram Lake Road is a major roadway that spans four towns - Mount Kisco, New Castle, Bedford and North Castle. Keep following Daily Voice for updates as they're released by police.
