CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. - The South Greeley Parking Lot, which runs parallel to South Greeley Avenue, was closed for the second consecutive day Wednesday as crews worked on the next stage of the parking lots construction.
The parking lot was closed to traffic as construction workers installed the parking lots lighting infrastructure and pedestrian pathway in the center of the rear lot.
The lot is expected to open partially Thursday, according to New Castle Zoning Board Secretary Lori Anderson.
Tomorrow, it will be as operational as it had been previously, Anderson said Wednesday. A lot of things have come up around there in the past few days but the front entrance will be open once again tomorrow.
Construction on the parking lot is expected to continue throughout the month of August. The South Greeley Parking Lot Project is expected to be finished by Labor Day.
