Spooky Noises Keep New Castle's Andrew Cuomo Up At Night

Cuomo said spooky noises in the mansion are preventing him from getting some sleep, according to the New York Post.

The governor is often alone in the house while his family is back in Westchester. And while he said he doesn't believe in ghosts, being alone in a house and hearing noises doesn't make for a restful night in bed, he told the Post.

Gov. David Paterson also told the Post that he believes the 161-year-old mansion is haunted by a ghost.

Paterson said his staff believed it was the spirit of a groundskeeper who served the mansion's original owners prior to the state taking over in 1877, according to the Post.
