* Delany Literacy Awards Dinner will be celebrating the renaming of The Center for Literacy Enrichment to The Delany Center for Educational Enrichment and kick off the 50th year of the School of Education on Thursday, April 30.
* "Helping All Students Gain Power Over Common Core Expectations: Culturally Compelling Genre Instruction" will be presented by Dr. Kathleen Hinchman on Thursday, April 30 from 5:40 p.m. to 8:40 p.m. in the President's Boardroom, 18th Floor, 1 Pace Plaza, New York. * "Unstoppable Learning: Strategies for High-Quality Teaching and Learning" will be presented by Dr. Douglas Fisher on May 4, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Gottesman Room, Kessel Student Center, Pleasantville. The Douglas Fisher event will be free to Pace faculty, students and alumni. There will be a 20$ charge for the public.
