The 50-member orchestra, with Ben Niemczyk conducting, will present works by Beethoven, Mozart, Ravel and other great composers.

The New Westchester Symphony Orchestra was founded in 2011 by Niemczyk and adult-beginner bassist Belinda Kan to create an ensemble where "instrumentalists of any age and ability could play the greatest works of music history in a supportive, non-competitive setting, free of the auditions and scrutiny of traditional orchestras," according to the organization's website.
