New Castle Conservation Board Hosts Workshop On Adding Trees To Landscape

CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- The New Castle Conservation Board will be hosting "Adding Native Trees To Your Landscape: An Informational Workshop" on Wednesday, June 11 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., to provide discussion on the types of trees that thrive in the community.

The meeting will be held in the Assembly Room at New Castle Town Hall, 200 S. Greeley Ave., Chappaqua.

The following topis will be discussed:

• Trees that are native to Chappaqua • The benefits of planting native trees • The attributes of a variety of trees to determine which ones are the “best fit” for your landscape
