The gathering, which for years has been a focal point for community organizations in the town of New Castle, is scheduled to take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Chappaqua train station plaza.
A notice for this year's Community Day states, "The event is a community gathering with entertainments, food and refreshment, rides for kids, a DJ, informational booths for the many community organizations, vendors, services providers, handcrafts, volunteer corps, church groups, local businesses, etc."
The local rotary is also scheduled to hold a blood drive, which will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and also be in the plaza.
