The incident happened on Monday, Dec. 16, when Putnam County Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to a residence on Lake Drive in Putnam Valley around 7:45 a.m. after receiving reports of loud music, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Upon arrival, deputies found a large group of people inside the home and loud music coming from the basement, where a DJ was playing music. The residence had been rented out as an Airbnb, authorities said.

This marked the second visit by deputies to the same home for the same issue. Deputies had responded overnight and warned the occupants to turn off the music, which they did at the time, according to the Sheriff's Office.

The Sheriff's Office also revealed that the 911 Center had received numerous calls over the previous two days regarding loud music and parking issues at the property.

As a result, the DJ, identified as 25-year-old Jesus Oliveras-Sosa of Manhattan, was issued an appearance ticket for violating the town code for Unreasonably Loud, Disturbing, or Unnecessary Noise.
