Chappaqua's BobbySue's Nuts Wins Awards For New Savory Combinations

CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- BobbySue's Nuts, a Chappaqua-based family business, has received Gold and Silver SOFI awards from the Specialty Food Association in advance of this summer's Fancy Food show. (Go HERE for earlier story.)

The "nutty' business swept the top two spots in the ultra-competitive Savory Snacks category.

The Gold Award went to "Everything Goes Nuts," a take on the everything bagel -- think sesame, poppy, onion, garlic, salt and spices with the added crunch of almonds, cashews, and pecans.

The Silver Award went to "Nuts Over Olives," a savory mix of almonds, cashews, and pecans including FOODMatch's roasted Divina black and green olives coated with spices.
