Chamber Weighs Performing Arts Center In Chappaqua

CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. - The Chappaqua-Millwood Chamber of Commerce has announced a meeting for Wednesday to discuss a major proposal for downtown Chappaqua called the "Hamlet Revitalization Project."

The project would bring new stores, a performing arts center and 250 additional elevated parking spots to the downtown area. The plan also includes installing turf and possibly lights to the playing field near Senter Street.

According to chamber board member Rob Greenstein, the public informational meeting will begin at noon sharp in New Castle Town Hall's Conference Room A and will last one hour.
