Just before noontime on Wednesday, Nov. 9, officers responded to a report of shots fired in Peekskill on Central Avenue near Washington Street. Police Investigating Theft Of Wallet With $1K From Vehicle In Westchester Police are investigating a theft from an unlocked vehicle in Northern Westchester. Officers responded to Washington Street in Peekskill for a report of a robbery around 7:30 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 28, said Peekskill Police Lt. Jack Galusha. Man Killed While Walking Along Roadway In Westchester A 78-year-old man was struck and killed by a vehicle while he was walking on a roadway in Northern Westchester. The incident took place around 3:30 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 29, when William O’Connor was walking in the area of Washington and Requa streets, said Peekskill Police Lt. Jack Galusha.
