This all happened in Orange County at the home of Nicole Marie Manzare in Warwick on Wednesday, Dec. 28. In Orange County, Warwick Valley Central Schools Superintendent Dr. David Leach said the district was  "made aware of a threat allegedly made by a middle school student" on Monday, June 20. At about 4:20 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 16, there was a report of a shooting in the Orange County hamlet of Pine Island, located in the town of Warwick. Grin And Bear It: Orphaned Cub Rescued In Hudson Valley Sometimes, it takes a village. Police in the area helped track down a female bear cub who had gotten separated from her mother over the weekend. On Friday, June 15, members of the Warwick Police Department issued an assist to the New York State Environmental Police in tracking and taking an orphaned bear cub into custody. Following the joint effort, officers were able to corral the cub, who has been safely transported to an Orange County wildlife rehabilitation facility.
