Group Stealing Mail Nabbed In Hudson Valley After Fiery Crash: Police A man and a juvenile were nabbed after police responded to a suspicious vehicle call. The occupants allegedly removed items from a mailbox in front of a home. The incident occurred in Rockland County around 12:10 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 8, in Tomkins Cove. According to Stony Point Police Lt. Daniel Schoales, responding officers located a vehicle matching the description on Mott Farm Road. Deer Hits Bicyclist During Popular Road Race In Area A woman suffered a broken arm and leg after being hit by a deer while participating in a popular road race in the area. Caroline Lepage, 48, of Quebec, was hit about 10 a.m., Sunday, May 19, while riding her bike northbound during the annual Gran Fondo Race on Route 9W near Boulderberg Road in Tomkins Cove, said Stony Point Police Lt.
