Officers from the Scarsdale Police Department received a call at approximately 6:50 a.m. on Wednesday, June 19, from a local resident reporting that a man - later identified as Astoria resident Stanley Dejusus-Cruz from Queens - was seen rummaging through a parked car on Pinecrest Road. Scarsdale Police: Burglary Suspect Stole Engagement Ring, Wedding Band Police in Scarsdale are investigating the latest village burglary, that saw a suspect make off with a “large amount of jewelry" after forcing entry through the garage. Officers from the Scarsdale Police Department were dispatched to a Tisdale Road home at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 17, where there was a report from a homeowner of a burglary in the place.
