Teen Killed By Gunshot Wound Remembered For Love Of Outdoors, Video Games The 17-year-old who died after an accidental self-inflicted gunshot wound is being remembered for his love of the outdoors and video games. The announcement of the incident, which occurred on Friday, Feb. 1, was made on Thursday, Feb 7 by Putnam County Sheriff Robert L. Langley Jr. At approximately 7:46 p.m. Feb. 1, sheriff's deputies responded to a radio run of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head of the teen at a home on Ridge Avenue in Putnam Valley after another teen called 911 to report that his friend had accidentally shot himself. Donovan Jr. of Cobleskill, formerly of Somers, died unexpectedly on Saturday, Jan. 26 at the age of 23.  He was born in Carmel on May 31, 1995, the son of Michael Sr. and Sherri See Donovan and was a 2013 graduate of Somers High School. He went on to earn his Bachelor's degree at SUNY Cobleskill. Michael loved the outdoors, camping, riding his quad and spending time with his family on the weekends. Three Men Face Charges For Fatal Westchester Summer Shooting Three men have been arrested and charged for their roles in the fatal shooting of a man in Northern Westchester over the summer. Westchester County District Attorney Anthony Scarpino, Jr. announced on Thursday that three men have been arraigned for the July 13 fatal shooting of 22-year-old Bronx resident Khalil Lyons in Peekskill. The indictment alleges that Peekskill resident Demetrius Bogan and Shrub Oak resident Sean Deleon shot and killed Lyons at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Park Street. Westchester Man, 23, Second Suspect Charged In Fatal Shooting A second man has been implicated in the fatal shooting of a man in Northern Westchester last month, authorities announced on Wednesday. Shrub Oak resident Sean Deleon, 23, was arrested by the Peekskill Police Department and charged with second-degree murder for his alleged role into the shooting of 22-year-old Khalil Lyons in Peekskill on July 13.  On July 27, a Peekskill teenager, Demetrius Bogan, 18, was also charged with murder following the three-week investigation. Man, 21, Killed In One-Vehicle Westchester Crash A 21-year-old man was killed after driving into a utility pole in an early morning crash on Route 202 near Yorktown Police Headquarters. Police are investigating the crash that took the life of Yorktown resident Alexander Delic, who was killed in a one-vehicle crash at approximately 3:30 a.m. Saturday.
