Hudson Valley Man Accused Of Raping 14-Year-Old He Met On Snapchat
A Hudson Valley man has been arrested after allegedly meeting a 14-year-old girl online and having sex with her on multiple occasions. Orange County resident Marco J. Rivera, age 22, of Washingtonville, was arrested by the Ulster County Sheriff's Office on Wednesday, Sept. 21 for the incidents which took place in July 2020. A registered sex offender convicted of raping a teenage girl has reported an address change in Westchester County. The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services issued an alert this week to Westchester residents regarding the residency of 36-year-old David Bell, who has moved from an apartment on Courtlandt Avenue to a residence on Franklin Avenue in Mount Vernon. Police: Area Man Lured 13-Year-Old On Social Media Before Committing Rape
A 21-year-old man is behind bars after state police say he lured a 13-year-old on social media to send photos before eventually breaking into the victim's home and committing forcible rape. Allegations of sexual assault were reported to state police on Monday, June 25 in Carmel. A subsequent investigation found Anthony E. Barrera Ramirez of Dover began having conversations with the child on a social media application, police said.
